Fight the Good Fight

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of crossing borders into more than 20 countries to share the Gospel. I’ve faced my fair share of challenges—grueling travel, intense border crossings, language barriers, and the heavy spiritual weight that comes with the mission field.
But you know what I’ve learned through all those miles and stamped passports? The most profound “fight” we face isn’t always geographic.
We often think of fighting the good fight as some grand, cinematic battle. But the truth is, the most powerful fight is the daily, gritty, consistent choice to do good to the person right in front of you. It’s choosing patience when you are completely exhausted. It’s choosing integrity when the world offers an easier, compromised path.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (ESV)
In 2 Timothy 4:7, Paul talks about finishing the race and keeping the faith. That race is a daily course. Every single morning, God sets before us life and death. Choosing life means waking up and actively deciding to be a vessel of His love—whether you are navigating a remote international checkpoint or simply crossing the street to help a neighbour in need.
You don’t need a passport to live on mission. Living a godly life happens in the quiet, consistent choices we make every single day to remain anchored in His truth.
What course are you taking today?
Let’s choose life. Let’s fight the *good* fight. Let me know in the comments how you are intentionally choosing life today! 👇🌿
Be blessed,
