On Pentecost weekend, May 22, 2026, I had the privilege of sharing a message at Jesus My Rock Church in Kuala Lumpur. In this sermon, I wanted to dive deep into what it truly means to live a life saturated by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus explicitly invites anyone who is thirsty to come to Him and drink of “living water,” which the scriptures clearly identify as the Holy Spirit. Pentecost serves as our ultimate reminder that we are called to live a Spirit-empowered life. Our faith should never rest in human wisdom, but entirely in the power of God.
As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”
Fixing Our Eyes on the Promise
Drawing from Hebrews 12 and Ephesians 1, I challenged the church to fix their eyes firmly on Jesus. We need to catch a fresh revelation of the immeasurable, explosive power that is actively available to us as believers.
Let me be clear, Christians are not powerless. God has not left us defenceless in this world. In fact, He has equipped every single one of us with three unstoppable tools to overcome any obstacle:
- The Name of Jesus
- The Blood of Jesus
- The Holy Spirit
Miracles, Deliverance, and Living Proof
I know this power is real because it completely transformed my own life. I often share my personal testimony of how God radically delivered me from a drug-addicted past. If He can break those chains in my life, He can do it for anyone.
Throughout my missionary journeys, I have seen this supernatural power on display time and time again. We have witnessed incredible physical healings, demonic deliverances, and even moments where creation itself had to obey God’s voice—like the time the wind literally changed direction during an outdoor crusade, or when we experienced undeniable supernatural protection during a terrifying car incident.
A Fresh Infilling for Greater Things
These miracles aren’t just historical events; they are available for you right now. I want to urge you to actively apply Christ’s finished work to your daily life. Walk boldly in love, seek a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit every day, and dare to believe God for supernatural provision and even greater things.
